Frequently Asked Questions

  • Coaching is forward-focused, action-oriented, and centered on your goals, growth, and intentional next steps. Together, we explore where you are now and where you want to go (professionally or personally) and create a path to get there.

Therapy, on the other hand, is typically focused on emotional healing, mental health, and past experiences. If you are looking to advance your career, strengthen your leadership, build confidence, or navigate a transition, coaching is the right fit.

  • Most coaching engagements run 3–6 months, with sessions every 1–2 weeks depending on your goals and pace. Some clients come for targeted support (e.g., an interview, new leadership role, promotion prep), while others engage in longer-term ongoing development.

We will figure out what makes sense for you during our discovery call.

  • If you are ready to make a change and willing to do the work, coaching can help. You do not need to have everything figured out. That is what we work on together.

If you are navigating a career transition, want to build confidence, need to improve how you communicate, or just feel ready for something different, coaching might be a good fit. The best way to know is to schedule a discovery call and we will talk it through.

  • Each session is tailored to you. We start by checking in on your progress and identifying what is most important to focus on that day. Through powerful questions, reflection, and strategic exploration, we uncover insights, remove obstacles, and create meaningful next steps. You will leave each session with increased clarity and actionable steps to move forward. Between sessions, you may receive reflective prompts or small assignments to keep your momentum going.

  • Yes. Everything shared in our coaching relationship is confidential. I adhere to the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics, which includes strict confidentiality guidelines.

The only exceptions would be if there is a legal obligation to disclose information or situations where safety is a concern, and I will always discuss those situations transparently.

  • I am direct but supportive. I ask questions that help you see things differently and get clear on what you actually want. I am not here to give you a checklist or tell you what to do. I help you access your own answers so you can move forward with confidence.

Clients tell me our work together feels energizing, honest, and clarifying.

  • Yes, both. I offer structured packages for deeper transformation, as well as one-off strategy sessions for targeted needs (e.g., interviews, presentations, or high-stakes conversations). During our discovery call, we will discuss which option best supports your goals.

  • Most sessions are via Zoom. In-person sessions may be available in New York City depending on scheduling and availability.

  • I work with emerging and established leaders who are navigating career transitions, building executive presence, strengthening communication, or finding their voice. I also work with organizations to help develop leaders and improve team communication.

  • Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Short-notice cancellations or missed sessions may count as a completed session depending on the package terms. This ensures accountability and honors both of our time.

  • That is completely okay. Many of my clients are first-time coaching clients. Our discovery call will walk you through the process, and your sessions will always move at a pace that feels safe, supportive, and grounded for you.

  • That is normal—and often where the best work begins. Coaching helps you get clear on what you actually want, not just what you think you should want. We will start by exploring what's working, what's not, and what you're ready to change.

  • My coaching style is built from a design background blended with 20+ years of corporate leadership experience. What that means for you is that we're not following a template or checking boxes. Our work together will help you design the life and career you actually want, creating your own blueprint for where you are now and where you're going. I use design thinking principles to help you envision possibilities, prototype next steps, and build something that feels authentically yours.
My approach is grounded in what I call anchored intention: reconnecting with who you are at your core so you can create lasting change, not temporary motivation.
